Ostara is a celebration of the spring equinox, part of pagan traditions, celebrating the balance of day and night and the renewal of life after a long winter.
It's named after the Anglo-Saxon goddess Ēostre, associated with spring, dawn, and new beginnings.
• Size and material •
🌷 These breath-taking snakes were created from a golden clay, along two gem imitation which are also hand-sculpted; from a blend of both transparent, opaque clays and gold foils, to achieve this see-through marble effect.
🌷 They were then hand painted with a brighter gold pigments than my usual; an almost pearl-like one.
🌷 Varnished with a gloss finish for extra protection of the piece.
🌷 Mounted on 18K plated Gold Hoops, just for us, creatures with sensitive skin.
🌷 Measures 3'' long from the top of the hook.
🌷 Weighs 6g.
